Tour update number 3
The third instalment of our tour has been a maelstrom of wine, gin and the town of Nimbin. We started off winding our way through New South Wales’s vertical landscape from Byron Bay to infamous Nimbin, where Woodstock meets frontier town and cowboys are replaced by somewhat vague bearded men casually preaching consciousness expansion on the main street. After experiencing all the colourful local culture and playing a gig we departed in as unobtrusive manner as possible.
Somewhat battered and more than a little hungover, it was straight on a plane to the metropolitan sprawl of Melbourne. After a much needed period of separation and rest (we’d grown entirely too familiar with each other’s lack of clothing), we’re back on the road, ready to finish off the last few days of our tour – hopefully without resorting to strangling Richard in his sleep for snoring. Next stop is the NightJar Markets, so if you see us say hello, we might be in Torquay.
